HEAD-TO-HEAD: Neuberger Berman vs Allianz
This week’s Head-to-Head examines two China equity vehicles: Neuberger Berman China Equity and Allianz Greater China Dynamic.
Allianz Greater China Dynamic carries a 0.95% annual charge on its distributing share class and 2.25% on the accumulation side, while NB China Equity’s per annum fees range between 1.1% and 1.85% across its share classes.
Husselbee said: “The fees for both Asian and emerging market funds remain at a premium to the developed market orientated offerings. These are less efficient markets which creates greater volatility and as such a wider dispersion of returns with these fund sectors.
“Whilst this equation remains consistent there will be very little pressure on fee reduction.”
