HEAD-TO-HEAD: JOHCM versus Threadneedle
FSA compares two UK equity products: the JOHCM UK Dynamic Fund and the Threadneedle UK Extended Alpha Fund.
Fees
Fund research firm Morningstar pays a lot of attention to management charges and expenses, and share classes that charge excessive fees are typically assigned lower ratings.
The JOHCM fund has an ongoing charges figure of 0.80% per cent, while the Threadneedle fund is slightly more expensive at 0.83%.
However, both products fees are well below the median OCF of 1.70% for UK equity funds available in Hong Kong and Singapore.
