Amundi appoints head of distribution for China and Hong Kong

Marco Tang has been appointed deputy CEO of Amundi Hong Kong as well as head of distribution for China and Hong Kong.

Amundi has appointed Marco Tang (pictured) as deputy chief executive office of Amundi Hong Kong and head of distribution for China and Hong Kong, effective yesterday.

Based in Hong Kong, he previously worked at Ninety One for almost six years including most recently as managing director and head of Asia adviser.

Prior to that, he worked as head of the retail China business onshore and head of the retail China business offshore and Hong Kong at Neuberger Berman.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Barings, JP Morgan, Allianz Global Investors and HSBC.

Meanwhile, Amundi has also appointed Jae-Geun Oh as head of institutional business in Korea, effective 2 May. He is also based in Hong Kong.

Oh was most recently an executive director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and also worked at NNIP, APS Asset Management, Dimensional Fund Advisors, KB Asset Management and DWS.
