Amundi adds senior portfolio manager in Singapore

Amundi has announced that Florent Dang Tran, senior portfolio manager and investment adviser, has joined the multi-asset investment team in Singapore to help build the French asset manager’s investment capabilities in Apac.

Effective in September 2024, Dang Tran will have responsibility to build up further the local ability to advise and manufacture multi-asset solutions to clients in South Asia, according to a statement by the firm.

Dang Tran will functionally report to Florian Neto, head of multi-asset investments for Asia and locally to David Poh, head of investments for South Asia.

Dang Tran began his career at Amundi Paris in 2004 as a multi-asset portfolio manager for high net worth Individuals of Société Générale, then for institutional clients of the bank.

From 2015 to 2018, he worked within NH-Amundi in Seoul (the Korean joint-venture between Amundi and NH Group) as senior overseas allocator and fund manager.

In 2018, he relocated to the Paris office to serve as senior portfolio manager and investment adviser within the wealth services and solution business line. He was in charge of managing multi-asset funds of funds as well as providing fiduciary management, and investment advisory to clients globally and in South Asia.
