Pictet WM hires former JP Morgan banker

He will lead a Greater China team.

Raymond Yeung has joined Pictet Wealth Management as lead of the Greater China market group, which has recruited several other bankers recently. The team will focus on the Greater Bay Area.

Yeung has spent 17 years in the wealth management industry, most recently with JP Morgan Private Bank where he led a group targeting the Hong Kong and China markets. He has previously has positions at  BOCI Private Bank, DBS, Fortis Private Bank and Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, DBS, BOCI Private Bank and Fortis Private Bank.

In his new role, Yeung will report to Hong Kong branch chief executive and North Asia head Alex Ng.

Meanwhile, Chun Man Ho has joined Greater China team after a similar period as a private banker, arriving from DBS Private Bank where he was an investment counsellor.

Relationship manager Kenneth Choi comes from Standard Chartered Private Banking, and also has also had spells at BNP Paribas, Citi Private Bank, DBS and Deutsche Bank.  In addition, Kathy Xie joins as a junior private banker from JP Morgan Private Bank, and John Chan arrives from Julius Baer as a client relationship officer.
