The sales director based in Singapore, David Conway, will be transferring to London during the second quarter to take up a senior role within the global financial institutions group (GFIG), reporting to John Tevenan, head of GFIG and UK Wealth.
Peter Swarbreck, head of Asia-Pacific based in Hong Kong, said Conway “has played a key role in establishing excellent relationships over the last few years in Asia and he will continue to liaise with our clients in Asia for the foreseeable future”.
Madeline Han will fill the senior sales role in Singapore. She has been associate sales director since joining the firm last August.
Han was previously at Templeton Asset Management in Singapore, where she worked for eight years looking after insurance, consumer bank and private bank clients.
This year, the firm also appointed Shirley Chong as associate sales director, who will be working with Tony Yu, sales director, both based in Hong Kong. She previously worked for Allianz for seven years, and Fidelity prior to that, developing the retail business in Hong Kong for both firms.
The transitions of Conway and Han were reported earlier by the FSA Spy.
