JP Morgan AM hires HNW client adviser

Naomi Finnigan has been hired to support growth momentum the firm is seeing in Australia.

JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has hired Naomi Finnigan as a high-net-worth (HNW) client adviser for Australia.

The firm said the hire is to support the growth momentum it is seeing in the HNW channel.

Finnigan will be based in Melbourne, reporting to Mark Carlile, head of wholesale in Australia and New Zealand.

She will work closely with private banks and family offices to understand their needs and provide bespoke investment solutions.

Prior to joining JPMAM, Finnigan was head of investment solutions at Netwealth. She has two decades of experience in the industry.

Mark Carlile said: “Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the HNW, ultra HNW and family office distribution landscape will be invaluable as we continue to deliver tailored solutions to meet the needs and investment goals of these clients.”

JPMAM said its Australia assets under management has grown by 35% on the back of its focus on global, low-cost active solutions.

“Our distribution team has grown almost 40% since 2022 and we are incredibly proud of their commitment to growing our business,” Carlile said. “Naomi’s appointment highlights our commitment to investing in top talent and growing our business in the region.”
