Citi’s Asia investments head for high net worth investors, Citigold private clients and Citigold has joined wealthtech firm Prive Technologies.
Paul Hodes has been appointed distribution head at the company, where he will oversee global distribution of the firm’s open architecture, advisory and discretionary portfolio management platform.
Hodes spent more than two decades at Citi.
He is based in Hong Kong in his new role.
He is only the latest industry figure to join Prive Technologies. Last year, Simon Godfrey, former head of product advisory at EFG Bank, joined the company.
Set up in 2011, Prive Technologies was launched by ex-JP Morgan executives Charles Wong and Julian Schillinger, with the aim of “democratising” wealth management through utilising technology.
