iCapital makes two senior appointments

The alts platform for wealth managers has boosted its Apac and EMEA teams.

iCapital, a global fintech platform providing access to alternative investments for the wealth management industry, has announced the appointment of two senior hires to strengthen its leadership team in Apac and EMEA.

Tuan Lam (main picture) will join the firm as head of Apac, and Daniel Imhof as head of client solutions EMEA. Edwin Chan retains his role as head of client solutions Apac.

With iCapital’s expansion in Apac, including opening offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, and most recently Tokyo, and entering the Australian market, Lam will lead and strengthen iCapital’s growth and business development activities across the region. He will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Marco Bizzozero, head of international at iCapital.

During the past three years, Chan has grown iCapital’s business in Apac, significantly increasing the firm’s client franchise across the region, according to a statement bby the firm. Chan will continue to focus on strategic client and business development activities as Head of Client Solutions APAC.

Meanwhile, Imhof (pictured left) will join iCapital as the head of EMEA client solutions. He will spearhead the firm’s business development activities and expand its client base in the region. Imhof will particularly focus on banks, wealth management organizations, and independent financial advisors across EMEA. He will be based in Zurich and will report to Bizzozero.
