“Both funds benefit from stable management teams with long experience and proven track records, who are supported by strong analyst and research resources,” said Savage.
The Franklin fund has been managed by Grant Bowers since March 2007. He joined Franklin Templeton in 1993, moving to the equity group after time as a fixed income analyst in 1998. His sector expertise includes telecoms, media, and business services.
Bowers has been supported by co-manager Sara Araghi since May 2016; she joined Franklin Templeton in 2003. Araghi is also a member of the Franklin small-cap growth team.
The managers are backed by the firm’s equity team of around 40 industry specialist analysts.
Richard Nackenson has managed the NB fund since its inception in 2012. He joined the firm in 1999 after working as a consultant at McKinsey, and as an analyst at several investment firms.
He is supported by Steven Majocha, who has been with Nackenson since 2008, after several years on NB’s central research team. Two dedicated research analysts and a brace of quants make up the team, although Nackenson can also turn to the firm’s large research resources.
