“GAM generally tends to have higher fees across all their products,” Douali said. The relative size of the two teams can provide some rationale for the higher fees. While the Aviva team consists essentially of two people, the GAM team is much larger, and the investors pay, in principle, for the breadth and depth of the research it provides.
