Fidelity names new Apac head of insurance solutions

Fidelity has appointed former AIA, AXA veteran Pierre-Emmanuel Brard to bolster its insurance business in the region.

Fidelity International has hired Pierre-Emmanuel Brard (pictured) as head of insurance solutions, Apac, according to a statement from the firm.

Based in Singapore, he will report to Fidelity’s global head of insurance solutions, Ghislain Perisse.

The firm said Brard is tasked with driving growth across the Apac region and collaborating with its Apac distribution heads to support their insurance clients.

Brard joins Fidelity from AIA, where he was a senior member of the asset allocation and investment solutions team, advising CIOs and Group senior stakeholders on investment-related issues across mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

Prior to that, he spent over a decade at AXA working in a number of senior positions, including chief investment officer of AXA Insurance Singapore.
