Citi names Apac third party manager solutions head

Amanda Lee joins the US bank from JP Morgan Private Bank.

Citi Global Wealth Investments has hired Amanda Lee as the Asia Pacific head of third party manager solutions, a spokesperson told FSA.

She is based in Singapore and reports to Julie Koo, global head of third party manager solutions at Citi Global Wealth Investments.

Lee will deliver Citi’s third party mutual fund growth strategy across its wealth management business in the region, with all mutual fund sales team members reporting to her.

Prior to joining Citi, she was the Asia managed solutions specialist at JP Morgan Private Bank and has also previously held various roles such as investment marketing, mutual fund specialist and managed fixed income specialist at JP Morgan.

Before that, Lee also worked at Eastspring Asset Management for seven years, where she led distribution sales for Malaysia as well as investment marketing and regional business development in Singapore.

She has also held roles at HSBC in Malaysia as well as Citi in Malaysia.

Citi Global Wealth, which was formed out of the merger of the bank’s consumer and private banking businesses last year, serves the full wealth spectrum ranging from mass affluent to ultra-high-net-worth.

In Asia, Citi Global Wealth has close to $200bn in client assets under management and over 2 million clients. It set up its first ever Citi Global Wealth Centre in Hong Kong last November.
