Amundi has named Florian Neto as head of investment, Asia, according to a statement from the company.
Effective from the start of November, he will oversee Amundi’s investment activities across the region, excluding Japan.
He previously served as Amundi’s head of investment, Hong Kong & Taiwan and head of multi asset, Asia since 2022.
Neto will still be responsible for the firm’s multi asset platform in Asia and lead a range of open-ended funds and institutional multi asset mandates. He will also continue to lead the outsourced chief investment officer function for Asian clients.
Neto started his career at Amundi in New York in 2010 working on alternative investments, before moving to the multi asset investment team in 2015.
He has a master of science in risk and asset management as well as a master’s degree in management from EDHEC Business School. He is a CFA Charterholder since 2015.
