Logan spent four years at PGIM after leaving Abrdn in 2020.

Abrdn has re-hired Steve Logan as head of European high yield and global loans, four years after he stepped away from the firm to join PGIM.

He succeeds Ben Pakenham who has left the firm to pursue opportunities elsewhere.

With 30 years industry experience, Logan previously held various leadership roles in his time at Abrdn, including global head of high yield and head of European high yield and global loans.

He left in 2020 to take up a portfolio manager role in PGIM’s European leveraged finance team.

Jonathan Mondillo, head of global fixed income at Abrdn, said: “We are very pleased to welcome back to abrdn Steve Logan, who is an outstanding investor and leader.  Steve has had a long and successful career in high yield and knows our clients and their assets very well.”
