James Fava has left his post as head of product development and management funds for Asia Pacific at UBS Wealth Management in Hong Kong.

Fava has joined Trusted Novus Bank in Gibraltar as relationship manager for financial institutions and intermediaries.

Fava was with UBS Wealth Management for more than two decades, including more than eight years in his current role and more than a decade as product manager for hedge funds.

“21 years ago I was offered redundancy from PaineWebber but chose to take on a role within UBS when the two firms merged. I am incredibly happy that I made that choice, having enjoyed more than two decades working in hedge fund and investment fund roles with UBS Wealth Management in London, Zurich and Hong Kong,” he wrote in a LinkedIn post.

“I am equally happy to share that as of 1 December I have taken on a new challenge and am now a relationship manager covering financial institutions and intermediaries at Trusted Novus Bank in Gibraltar. Super excited at the challenge that lays ahead as we try to execute on our growth plans.”
