Our content

Fund Selector Asia reports on a wide range of issues related to fund selection and portfolio construction including fund comparisons, strategy launches, distribution trends, regulatory changes and economic issues. Our goal is to serve the needs of financial professionals who are ultimately involved in building portfolios for investors.

Fund Selector Asia is the go-to source of industry news and analysis for a high value wholesale distributor audience, regular features include:

Daily news

The website includes daily news and analysis, focussing on fund lunches, industry trends, fund flows, people and business moves, product news, and regulator changes.

Distributor Interviews

A regular weekly feature outlining the views of a key distributor on a specific topic. Published in video or text format it will provide our readers with valuable peer insight into latest market trends.

Head-to-Head

An audience favourite weekly fund performance-related feature. An analyst based in Asia, who could be from a private bank, wealth management firm or research house, compares the investment strategy, performance and other data of two funds registered for sale in Asia.

Asset class in focus

ACIF provides a forum for fund managers or heads of research to analyse a particular asset class without promoting a specific fund. ACIF articles are typically interviews with articulate experts who provide data to back up their argument.

Top Trumps

Top Trumps can be referred to as a Head-to-Head lite. Based on the UK card game, in which players have themed cards and compare the data to determine a winning hand, Top Trumps for FSA does the same with funds.

FSA Spy

A weekly column best described as loose conversation between friends in a bar. The FSA Spy writes his opinions and sometimes rumours (though he qualifies them as such) about the asset and wealth management community, as well as often unpublished people moves and anonymous tips from the financial community.
