RBC Wealth Management appoints Asia COO

RBC Wealth Management has appointed Kamran Azim as chief operating officer for the wealth management division in Asia, effective November 1.

Based in Singapore, he reports to Terence Chow, CEO of RBC’s wealth management Asia division. Azim will also serve as deputy chief executive officer of the Singapore branch.

Azim has held a number of roles with RBC across finance, capital markets, private banking, products and strategy since joining the bank in 2008. Prior to his appointment as COO for wealth management in Asia, Azim was vice president and head of global credit and cash management, based in Toronto. He previously spent time leading RBC wealth management’s credit team from Singapore.
