Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) Singapore has appointed Budi Suharto as head of fixed income. He will be based in Singapore, reporting to Dora Seow, CEO, Natixis IM Singapore.
Suharto’s appointment is part of Natixis IM Singapore’s diversification and development strategy in Asia, according to statement by the asset manager.
Within Natixis IM Singapore’s “Common House” framework, Suharto will lead the fixed income and credit research team based in Singapore on behalf of Ostrum Asset Management, an investment manager under Natixis IM.
He will drive sustainable investment performance, business growth and development, responsible for the construction and oversight of Asian emerging market bond portfolios, identifying and assessing new investment opportunities in the primary and secondary markets, as well as monitoring portfolios on an ongoing basis.

Suharto has over 15 years of experience in fixed income portfolio management, encompassing strategic portfolio positioning, tactical asset allocation, financial modelling, and investment research.
Before joining Natixis IM, he was executive director, emerging markets corporate debt portfolio manager & research analyst, at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Prior to that, he was at Deutsche Bank AG in Hong Kong, London, and Singapore.
