Natixis IM adds head of equity investments for the region

Prior to joining Natixis IM, Khanna worked at Credit Suisse Asset Management.
A new way of greeting to avoid the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Two people (a man and a woman) bump elbows instead of hug or handshake.

Natixis Investment Managers Singapore has appointed Rushil Khanna as head of equity investments for the region.

He joins the firm in Singapore and reports to Dora Seow, CEO for Natixis IM Singapore.

Khanna will manage the equity investment expertise on behalf of Ostrum AM in southeast Asia and he will draw on Ostrum’s ESG knowledge to support local clients as they define their ESG strategies, Natixis IM said.

With Natixis IM Singapore carrying investment management advisory and research activities dedicated to several affiliates, as well as the local distribution team, Khanna will support the growth of Natixis IM Singapore’s plans, Natixis IM added.

“As we continue to expand in Asia, Rushil’s appointment represents an exciting step towards building our investment capabilities and footprint in the region,” said Seow. “Rushil’s experience and in-depth knowledge of equities will be invaluable as we pursue our strategic goals and support clients on every step of their investment journey.”

Khanna has over 20 years’ experience in equity portfolio management and prior to joining Natixis IM, he held various roles at Credit Suisse Asset Management, most recently as head of equities for Asia Pacific and lead portfolio manager, based in Singapore.
