Mutual fund Top Trumps – US small-cap equity
This week FSA presents a quick comparison of two US small-cap equity funds: the Legg Mason Royce US Small Cap Opportunity Fund and the Threadneedle American Smaller Companies Fund.

Information ratio aims to measure a portfolio manager’s consistent ability to generate excess returns relative to a benchmark. The higher the IR, the more consistent the manager is.
