Matthews Asia has hired Beonca Yip as head of Asia Pacific.

Yip will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s business in the Asia Pacific region as well as leading its distribution activities, with a particular focus on the firm’s growing institutional business, Matthews Asia said.

Yip joins the firm with over 28 years of experience in senior distribution leadership roles.
