In Lin’s place, Amundi appointed long-time employee Eric Bramoullé as its new South Asia CEO, according to a statement from the firm.

Bramoullé, who is now based in Singapore, has been with Amundi for 19 years, according to the statement. Before his South Asia CEO role, he was CEO for Austria and was previously CEO for Poland.

Lin is now MSCI’s Hong Kong-based managing director and head of Asia-pacific client coverage, according to a separate announcement from MSCI published yesterday.

Lin assumed his Amundi South Asia CEO role last year following the firm’s merger with Pioneer Investments. Before that, he was Pioneer Investments’ head of Asia-Pacific, India, Middle East and Africa for five years.
