J Safra Sarasin hires two MDs from Julius Baer

Both Michael Leutwyler and Rupesh Singh have joined the Swiss-Brazilian private bank.
A new way of greeting to avoid the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Two people (a man and a woman) bump elbows instead of hug or handshake.

J Safra Sarasin has made two hires from Julius Bear in Singapore.

Michael Leutwyler has joined the Swiss-Brazilian bank as managing director. He spent the past eight years at Julius Baer, where he was managing director senior adviser. He previously worked at Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and UBS.

Also joining J Safra Sarasin from Julius Baer as managing director in the client advisory team is Rupesh Singh. Singh spent more than eight years at Julius Baer as a managing director senior adviser. Prior to that, he worked at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group and also had stints at HSBC and Citi.
