HEAD-TO-HEAD: Pictet versus T Rowe Price
FSA compares two Japanese equities products: the Pictet Japanese Equity Opportunities Fund and T Rowe Price Japanese Equity Fund.
Fees
Fund research firm Morningstar pays a lot of attention to management charges and expenses, and share classes that charge excessive fees are typically assigned lower ratings.
The Pictet fund has an ongoing charges figure (OCF) for its retail share class 1.58% , and the T Rowe Price fund has a slightly higher OCF of 1.77%, according to FE Fundinfo.
The median fee for the Japanese equities sector is 1.84%, FE Fundinfo data shows.
