The Schroders fund has generally performed better than the Eastspring fund over the past five years including last year when it generated a return of 7.65% compared with a return of -6.91% for the Eastspring fund.
This year both funds have fared poorly as the equity markets have been suppressed with the Eastspring fund generating a return of -20.13%, while the Schroders fund posted a return of -16.08%.
The three-year annualised return for the Eastspring fund is -15.47% compared with -1.39% for the Schroders fund.
