HEAD-TO-HEAD: Blackrock versus Threadneedle
FSA compares two UK equity products: the Blackrock GF United Kingdom Fund and the Threadneedle UK Select Fund.
Fees
Both funds have fees that are “reasonable and within the range for UK equity products,” according to Ng. The Blackrock fund’s ongoing charges figure (OFC) is 1.83%, which is higher than the 1.67% for the Threadneedle fund, but lower than 1.85% sector median.
Threadneedle’s most recent OCF was disclosed in March 2018, and it is a mandatory requirement in Hong Kong to update the figure within the next couple of months.
