Angeline Huang has been named as chief executive of Friends Provident International’s Singapore office, reports our sister publication, International Adviser.

She will be looking after the operation in the country.

Huang will replace David Gervais, who will remain as general manager, looking after the sales effort in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Singapore. She has been shadowing Gervais in the role for the past year, and joined FPI in 2016.

Huang said: “I am happy to be taking on this new role and look forward to moving forward while reinforcing our commitment to the region.”

Gervais added: “I am clearly leaving the Singapore office in good hands. Angeline is very experienced. We will continue working in tandem in the region.”

FPI is owned by International Financial Group Limited (IFGL), which is also the parent company of RL360 and Ardan International.
