Fleischer will be responsible for driving the brand and marketing strategy, communications initiatives and overseeing the investment marketing group.
He has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and brand communications, public relations and client servicing in financial services across Asia and Europe.
Apart from his recent senior marketing role at BlackRock in Europe, his stints also include various roles at ANZ and Deutsche Asset Management in Asia.
Fleischer is based in Singapore and reports to Michele Bang, deputy chief executive of Eastspring Investments.
Phen will report to Fleischer. Previously, she was head of product management and strategy at Aviva Investors Asia.
Eastspring, the asset management arm of Prudential Corp in Asia, recently appointed Xavier Meyer as head of the product strategy and development team and Bill Barbour as director of client portfolio management.
As of 30 June, Eastspring’s total assets under management were about $115 bn, up 22% on the previous six months.
