Schroders has strengthened its Asia fixed income team with the appointment of Swa Wu to the newly-created role of investment director.

Based in Hong Kong, she reports to Jonathan Harris, Schroders investment director for credit. She previously worked at JP Morgan, where she spent over a decade as a senior fixed income specialist.

In her new role, Wu will be focused on Schroders global and Asian credit strategies and will work closely with Schroders’ international distribution network.

“Swa’s arrival further supports Schroders’ focus on expanding our considerable credit capability in Asia,” said Harris.

“We are continually looking at ways in which we can better deliver the breadth of investment opportunities that credit can provide to our clients and this appointment will enhance our ability to do so.”
