Deutsche Bank has announced several appointments in its private bank in Southeast Asia.

Ted Lim is due to join as managing director and cluster head for the region next month. Lim joins from Credit Suisse, and has previously worked for BNP Paribas, American Express Bank and ABN Amro Bank. He reports to Eleanor Lam, one of the market heads for southeast Asia.

“Ted Lim is a highly experienced UHNW coverage professional and deeply respected in the region. We are delighted to attract talent of Ted’s calibre to the Deutsche Bank platform,” said Johanes Oeni, head of the private bank for southeast Asia.

Meanwhile, Jean Koh joined as a vice president and relationship manager last month. She has nine years of wealth management experience.

In addition, Ellyn Alamsjah joined in August as managing director alongside Lulu Toligi and Sam Toh, who joined as directors.

Alamsjah previously worked at Credit Suisse, UBS and served as the group chief financial officer for Delifrance Asia.

Toligi has 23 years of wealth management experience and has worked as a relationship manager for the Indonesia market since 2005, while Toh has 18 years of wealth management experience.

“In the heart of our business, [Lim] joins four other new talents Ellyn Alamsjah, Lulu Toligi, Sam Toh and Jean Koh to provide personalised service and solutions to the unique needs and ambitions of our clients and their families,” said Oeni.
