BNY Mellon Investment Management (BNY Mellon IM) has announced three senior appointments in its distribution team in Asia.
Clarence Chan will serve as CEO of Singapore, on top of his existing role as head of client solutions for Asia Pacific ex-Japan, the asset manager announced on 1 August.
As part of his role, Chan will lead BNY Mellon IM’s Singapore office while continuing to develop the firm’s solutions business, which includes growing the outsourced chief investment officer, model portfolios and manager selection services in the region.
Similarly, Dominic Wong will take on an expanded role as head of intermediary distribution for Asia ex-Japan.
Wong has played a key role in the growth of BNY Mellon IM’s greater China intermediary business and has over 26 years of industry experience under his belt.
Meanwhile, Joycelyn Daines has been appointed head of intermediary distribution for southeast Asia.
Reporting to Wong, Daines will oversee BNY Mellon IM’s continued expansion in the southeast Asia retail market.
