Based in Singapore, Sachdev will be responsible for leading the firm’s foreign exchange advisory and execution services and for enhancing technology and digital initiatives for clients, according to a statement from the firm.
She reports to Arnaud Tellier, head of investment services for Asia-Pacific.
Before joining BNPP Wealth, Sachdev was Citi Private Bank’s head of foreign exchange and structured fixed income currencies and commodities, according to the statement. She has spent the past 13 years in senior foreign exchange roles at Citi and has around 20 years of investment banking and wealth management experience.
FSA sought more information from Citi Private Bank, but the firm did ot respond in time for publication.
Sachdev’s appointment comes after the bank named Lemuel Lee as its new Asia-Pacific head of investment services and head of investment services for Hong Kong last month. He replaced Maggie Tsui, who remains as a special advisor for the firm, and like Sachdev, reports to Tellier.
