Paula Ip, who was managing director, head of investment funds, advisory & sales, Greater China, since March 2023, left the Swiss wealth manager in March, according to background sources.

Her responsibilities have been taken up by Heather Lei.

Ip had spent more than seven years at UBS Global Wealth Management (UBS GWM), after joining from GAM in 2017, where she was head of distribution, Asia and a member of the board of directors.

Ip started her career in the industry at JP Morgan Chase in 1998, before moving to ING Investment Management in 2000, where she was regional sales and marketing manager for six years from 2000, according to her LinkedIn profile.

It is unclear why Ip has left UBS GWM, and where she will move to next.
