Julius Baer has appointed Stacy Wong as its team head for southeast Asia.
The move comes as the Zurich-headquartered lender looks to strengthen its footprint in the region, according to an internal memo seen by FSA. Julius Baer confirmed the move.
Wong, who brings with her over 25 years of experience in the wealth management sector, will report to Yang Vi Sun, Julius Baer’s group head of southeast Asia.
Her appointment comes hot on the heels of the bank’s recruitment of Aline Pacheco as the team head for southeast Asia in May.
Wong joins Julius Baer from UBS, where she played an integral role in advising Indonesia’s ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth clients for 19 years before becoming a desk head for the same market.
