VP Bank adds to its Asia Management Committee

The Liechtenstein-based wealth manager has hired two senior bankers.

Alexander Tsikouras and Will Wang will take on their newly-created roles at VP Bank and join the Asia Management Committee on 24 September, according to a statement by the bank.

As chief financial officer & chief operating officer Asia based in Singapore, Tsikouras will be responsible for driving the bank’s strategic financial and operational efficiency in Asia.  He will report regionally to Pamela Hsu Phua (CEO Asia), and functionally to Roger Barmettler (group CFO) and Urs Monstein (group COO).

Tsikouras has 20 years of experience in business development and risk management, finance and strategy. He joins from Pictet where he was chief of staff Asia.

Wang joins VP Bank as head of client solutions & strategic partnerships Asia based in Hong Kong. He will report functionally to both Pamela Hsu Phua (CEO Asia) and Thomas von Hohenhau (group head client solutions).

He has two decades of experience in private banking from front office, investments to management oversight in international locations spanning across Hong Kong, Singapore and Switzerland. Wang is currently head of the CAIA Association Hong Kong Chapter.

“Aligning with VP Bank’s growth strategy in Asia, these appointments follow the recent joining of two other senior executives, Pamela Hsu Phua as CEO Asia and Heline Lam as chief of staff Asia,” said the statement.
