EFG Bank bolsters its Asia Pacific business with three new hires

Christina Wong, Jane Li and Ian Campbell have joined the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Swiss private bank EFG Bank AG has boosted its Hong Kong team with the creation of three new roles to expand its business in the Asia Pacific region.

Christina Wong has been appointed senior managing director, senior client partner in Hong Kong, reporting to David Louie, CEO of the Hong Kong Branch and head of North Asia.

Prior to joining EFG Bank, Wong was a managing director at Credit Suisse’s wealth management business. She has also held senior positions at Deutsche Bank and Hang Seng Bank.

Meanwhile, Jane Li will be joining EFG Bank as market head for Greater China in Hong Kong serving ultra-high-net-worth clients, reporting to David Louie.

Before joining the firm, Li served as executive director of the China team at Credit Suisse and previously worked for UBS and China Minsheng Bank.

EFG Bank has also appointed Ian Campbell, another Credit Suisse and UBS alumnus, as new regional head of credit & head of risk in Hong Kong, reporting to David Louie and Francoise Galdemar, regional chief risk officer in Asia.

Campbell will be responsible for managing credit risk and operational risk, reporting to the chief credit officer international and global head of operational risk of the Swiss-headquartered private bank.
