The asset management arm of Pictet has hired Lorraine Kuo as senior investment manager for its multi asset team in Hong Kong, according to a statement from the firm.
Kuo will be reporting to Andy Wong, head of multi asset at Pictet Asset Management, working closely with the investment team in its managing multi asset funds.
Wong said: “We are pleased to welcome Lorraine to the team. She brings a wealth of investment expertise and knowledge in global sectors.”
“Her extensive experience in both sell-side and buy-side investment and research, will help further our capability in understanding and identifying global themes and ideas. These precision building blocks are key to our multi asset investment approach.”
Kuo (pictured) was formerly at Cypress Capital Hong Kong where she was head of private equity, overseeing the management of its Asia-focused private equity portfolios.
Prior to Cypress she co-managed mutual funds at Invesco Hong Kong for over 10 years, and before that she worked in various equity research roles at Deutsche Bank and Manulife Asset Management.
She will be working on both Pictet’s Hong Kong-domiciled global Multi Asset income strategy as well as Luxembourg-domiciled high-conviction theme-based Multi Asset strategy, the company said.
