Private equity (PE) fund manager Tembusu Partners has joined hands forces with Zurich-based Reuss Private to launch a new multi-family office (MFO) in Singapore.

The new firm, Tembusu Wealth Management, will be led by Jonathan Ng, who has over 25 years of industry experience, including as the former market leader for southeast Asia at Pictet’s wealth unit, according to a statement.

Tembusu Partners was founded in 2006 by four business families, as a boutique PE investment firm focusing on early and growth-stage companies. Its operations were led by chairman Andy Lim.

Meanwhile, Reuss Private was founded in 2000 by Swiss private bankers Felix Brem and Roman Neff. The firm provides personalised financial services, including asset management and investment advisory services, to high net worth individuals and families.

The genesis of Tembusu Wealth Management has been several years in the making, said Lim.
