Mutual fund Top Trumps – US small-cap equity
This week FSA presents a quick comparison of two US small-cap equity funds: the Legg Mason Royce US Small Cap Opportunity Fund and the Threadneedle American Smaller Companies Fund.

Performance and volatility are annualised over three years with data as reported at the end of last month.
Tracking error measures how well, on average, the fund tracked the underlying index. The lower the tracking error, the more consistent the fund returns are with those of the index.
The funds are available for professional investors in Hong Kong and Singapore.
