Julius Baer has appointed Ashwin Jayaram as team head, global NRI in Singapore, effective from 19 August 2024.
Based in Singapore, he will report to Vijay Solomon, group head, global NRI.
Jayaram (pictured) has over two decades of experience in the wealth management industry, holding various leadership roles focused on the South Asian diaspora at institutions including Bank J Safra Sarasin, Credit Suisse, and Coutts Bank.
Most recently, he was CEO and managing director of Bangalore-based BugleRock Capital, a Monetary Authority of Singapore licensed multi-family office serving ultra high net worth clients across South East Asia, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent.
“Julius Baer’s global NRI franchise helps connect Indians across the globe and is a significant driver of growth within the emerging markets region,” said Sumaya, in a statement.
“With Singapore as a key hub of growth, Ashwin’s deep expertise and proven leadership in the NRI market will be invaluable as we continue to expand and strengthen our presence in this important market.”
