ING IM rebrands as NN Investment Partners

Following its divestiture from ING Group and public listing, ING Investment Management has been globally rebranded as NN Investment Partners.

“The launch of our new brand is a fresh milestone in our journey to become the leading European-based provider of income-generating solutions,” said Stan Beckers, chief executive of NN IM.

The fund house manages approximately €186bn ($201.5bn) in fixed income, equities, multi-asset strategies and fiduciary services.

“The name ‘NN Investment Partners’ underscores our belief that by partnering with our clients and working side by side with them, we can provide attractive and relevant solutions that meet their needs,” said Hans Stoter, chief investment officer.

ING Investment was spun out of ING Group as part of a restructuring plan folllowing the financial crisis. The Group divested its insurance and investment management businesses in the US, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.

In March 2014, ING Investment became NN Group. It was publically listed on Euronext Amsterdam in June 2014. NN Investment Partners is the asset manager of NN Group.
