Indosuez hires duo in Hong Kong

Diana Hong and Elina Yan have both joined as executive directors.
A new way of greeting to avoid the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Two people (a man and a woman) bump elbows instead of hug or handshake.

Indosuez Wealth Management, the global wealth management arm of Credit Agricole, has announced two new hires.

Diana Hong has joined as executive director and team head for North Asia, covering Greater China. She has over 30 years of experience in the wealth management industry. Having started her career at Citibank in Taiwan, she subsequently moved to Hong Kong, where she headed the sales and wealth management teams in both SinoPac Financial Holdings and UBS, covering Taiwan and China. Prior to Indosuez, she was at Taipei Fubon Bank as senior vice president and team head of private banking.

Meanwhile, Elina Yan has joined as executive director for North Asia. She has close to 20 years of experience in corporate and private banking. She previously worked at Standard Chartered in the wholesale banking team, where she served corporate customers across project finance and trade finance and was also involved in clients’ company treasury solutions.

She later moved to private banking, where she had coverage of the mainland China and Hong Kong markets when she was at Standard Chartered and Credit Suisse, while at BNP Paribas, she was cluster head. Before joining Indosuez, she was executive director for the China market in Bank J Safra Sarasin.

“Indosuez has attracted experienced wealth management bankers into our Asia team, affirming our dedication to the region and our clients. With Diana and Elina joining the North Asia team, we are confident our clients will benefit from their deep expertise,” said Omar Shokur, chief executive officer for Asia and branch manager for Singapore.
