HEAD-TO-HEAD: Pinebridge versus T Rowe Price

FSA compares two global equity products: the Pinebridge Global Focus Equity Fund and the T Rowe Price Global Focused Growth Equity Fund.

David Eiswert has been the manager of the T Rowe Price Global Focused Growth Equity Fund since 2012, having joined the company nine years earlier.

“He is very experienced, and previously worked as an analyst at Mellon Growth Advisors and Fidelity Management and Research,” said McDermott.

At T Rowe Price, “Eiswert has the support of two dedicated analyst teams who help research and analyse stocks that merit further consideration,” he added.

The Pinebridge Global Focus Equity Fund has been managed by Robert Hinchcliffe since 2015. He joined the firm in 2008, and previously spent a decade as research analyst for UBS Investment Management and Bear, Stearns.

Anik Sen became co-manager of the fund in 2017, having joined Pinebridge in the same year as Hinchcliffe, “after managing a financials long-short equity portfolio ate Brevan Howard,” said McDermott.

Sen has also worked for Goldman Sachs, UBS Warburg, Fidelity Investments and Lloyds Bank International, where he started his career.
