HEAD-TO-HEAD: JP Morgan versus Schroders
FSA compares two multi-asset income products: the JP Morgan Multi Income Fund and the Schroder Asian Asset Income Fund.
Fees
Fund research firm Morningstar pays a lot of attention to management charges and expenses, and share classes that charge excessive fees are typically assigned lower ratings.
The ongoing charges figure (OCF) for the retail share class of the JP Morgan fund is 1.30%, which is close to the median of its Morningstar category.
The OCF for the Schroders fund is higher, at 1.54%, but is in the second cheapest quintile of its Morningstar category, according to Ge.
