The JP Morgan fund has ongoing charges (OCF) of 1.8%, while the UBS fund’s OCF is 2.4%, according to Liang.
The JP Morgan fund is competitively priced relative to its peers, while the UBS fund is more expensive. The peer average of China equity funds is 1.9%, Liang said.
“We think that UBS AM can bring the fees down of the fund given that the fund has the largest AUM in the category now,” she said.
