The Janus fund is the more expensive of the two, with ongoing charges (OCF) of 2.44% compared to Parvest’s 1.98%. The fees charged by healthcare funds registered for sale in Hong Kong range from 1.73% to 3.09%, with the median of 1.98%.
“Due to the specialisation of the sector, the fees tend to be high,” Ng said. “If you invest in this sector, you need to accept that.”
