FSA compares the Janus Global Life Sciences Fund with the Parvest Equity World Health Care Fund
The Janus fund is the more expensive of the two, with ongoing charges (OCF) of 2.44% compared to Parvest’s 1.98%. The fees charged by healthcare funds registered for sale in Hong Kong range from 1.73% to 3.09%, with the median of 1.98%.
“Due to the specialisation of the sector, the fees tend to be high,” Ng said. “If you invest in this sector, you need to accept that.”
