The Invesco fund is run by Tadao Minaguchi, who has been managing the product since inception in 2006, according to Ng.
Minaguchi draws support from 10 investment professionals, including four other Japan-focused portfolio managers and sector analysts covering the domestic market, he added.
Turning to the Pictet fund, the product is co-managed by Serena Robinson, Adrian Hickey and Sam Perry, according to Ng.
Robinson, who joined the firm in 2000, has been managing the fund since inception in 2003. Hickey and Perry joined Pictet AM in 2006 and 2009, respectively.
Ng does not have any concerns about the management teams, which he said have been at their respective funds over the long-term, through the financial crisis, and additionally have ample resources.
