The manager of the FSSA Global Emerging Markets Focus Fund, Rasmus Nemmoe joined FSSA Investment Managers (previous called First State) in October 2016 as a global analyst before launching the FSSA global emerging markets focus strategy in 2017, according to McDermott.
He previously worked at LGM in London, where he ran their Global Emerging Markets strategy. He has also worked in developed and emerging market equities in his native Copenhagen.
Ravi Jain is the manager of the GQG Partners Emerging Markets Equity Fund, and is not only the founder and chairman of GQG, but he is also the lead manager for all investment strategies, according to McDermott.
He has over 25 years’ investment experience and prior to GQG he worked at Vontobel Asset Management where he helped build the business from less than $400m AUM to just under $50bn, said McDermott.
Jain joined Vontobel Asset Management in 1994 from Swiss Bank Corporation.
