HEAD-TO-HEAD: Fidelity vs JP Morgan
FSA compares the Fidelity Thailand Fund and the JP Morgan Thailand Fund.
Fees
The JP Morgan fund has ongoing charges (OCF) of 1.68%, while the Fidelity fund OCF is 1.95%.
Ng said the fee difference between the funds is minimal and should not be the key factor for investors when considering the products.
Additionally, he noted that there are only a few Thailand equity funds available for sale in Hong Kong and Singapore, making it difficult to compare fees with peer funds.
Among all single country funds investing in the Asean region (available for sale in Hong Kong), the average charge is 1.95%, according to FE Analytics.
